Christmas and its atmospheric songs are close to both their hearts. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Karin and Catharina got to know each other at the music program at Helsj\u00f6n Folk High School and then followed each other at the Music Academy in Gothenburg. Since then they have made music together in many different contexts and constellations with everything from classical music, show, musical, jazz to contemporary music. Karin works professionally as a singer in the classical genre both in Sweden and abroad. In 2023, Karin was awarded Varberg Municipality&#8217;s Plaque of Honor in culture. Catharina works as principal at Katrineberg Folk High School and writes and produces music. They both live in Varberg. Julefrid contains a wintry musical palette with songs such as Nordqvist&#8217;s Jul, jul, str\u00e5lande jul, Ave Maria by Schubert, H\u00e4rlig \u00e4r jorden, A child is born and Himlen i min famn performed with vocals, piano, guitar, saxophone and recorder.<br \/>\nThe concert is about 60 minutes. Julefrid is given at 15.00 and 18.00. After the first concert and before the second, you can buy Christmas coffee in the World Heritage&#8217;s orange galley and Christmas mingle outside the S\u00e4ndarsalen.
