\u00c5KULLA SKI TRAILS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON – PRIZE DRAWING WILL BE HELD SOON!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrate 100 years of communication throughout the snow season and participate with your school class in the World Heritage Challenge this winter! Classes can take part in the challenge throughout spring 2025. Yes, as long as there’s snow on the \u00c5kulla Ski Trails! <\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, Grimeton Radio Station celebrates its 100th anniversary. \u00c5kulla Ski Alliance<\/a> would like to be part of this celebration and hopes that your school\/class wants to join in too! By having everyone who can ski at least one wavelength during your visit to \u00c5kulla, the class participates in a draw for an exciting visit to the Grimeton World Heritage Site in the spring! Big or small, your ski run also contributes to a better world. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The schoolchildren’s challenge in radio terms is MEDIUM WAVE! 700 pleasant meters in the snow! <\/h2>\n

Frequency trivia… The wavelength for a shortwave is 10-150 m, a medium wave 500-1,000 m, a long wave 1-20 km between the wave’s troughs and peaks. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here’s what you as a teacher should do for your class to participate!<\/h2>\n

Book your class with \u00c5kulla Ski Alliance<\/strong>. Click here for info<\/a>. Print out a class list before you go to \u00c5kulla. On site in \u00c5kulla, fill in your class list<\/strong> with everyone who has skied at least one wavelength of 700 m (1 lap on the Sparbanks trail) and hand it to our school hosts<\/strong> so the class participates in the draw. The competition continues as long as we receive school classes. The draw takes place after the season. The winning class will be notified via email. <\/p>\n
