During the summer tour of 2025, you can listen to and experience rebetiko. Pireus with Oluf Dimitri recreates rebetiko, which has been on UNESCO&#8217;s list of intangible cultural heritage since December 2017. The music group Pireus wants to celebrate 100 years of communication with this concert.    <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s tour includes music partly from Greece&#8217;s domestic rebetiko style \u201cPiraeus rebetiko\u201d, i.e., rebetiko from Athens&#8217; port city Piraeus, but also music from the Greek refugees who came from Turkish Izmir in the early 1920s. This tradition is called \u201cSmyrna rebetiko\u201d or \u201cSmyrneika\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, July 29 at 7:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The concert lasts approximately 2 hours.
