You will experience a transmitter start-up and the transmission of a message via the 100-year-old longwave transmitter. This year&#8217;s message is a message of peace formulated by multi-award-winning poet Ingela Strandberg, raised and born in Grimeton. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Alexander Association will start up SAQ. The event will take place in the Transmitter Hall. Follow the entire start-up until it is time for the transmission of the Morse telegram at 4:00 p.m. CEST. Ingela Strandberg will be present in the Transmitter Hall and will also read her poem. Ingela Strandberg attends and read her peace poem live.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3:20 p.m. CEST (1:20 p.m. UTC) <a href=\"https:\/\/alexander.n.se\/en\/saq-scheduled-to-air-on-un-day-oct-24th-2025\/\">Live YouTube broadcast<\/a> begins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3:30 p.m. CEST (1:30 p.m. UTC) Start-up of the Alexanderson alternator.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4:00 p.m. CEST (2:00 p.m. UTC) Transmission of poem as morse code message<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visitors are welcome. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. The ticket grants admission to the exhibition, the Transmitter Hall, and the transmitter launch, and also constitutes a welcome contribution to the preservation and development of the World Heritage Site. The visitor center and caf\u00e9 will be open until 4:00 p.m. on this day.
