Grimeton Radio Station has a tradition of self-sufficiency and creating with one’s own hands. Creativity and problem-solving have always been valued here, ever since the towers began to be built. The staff made their own tools, and maintenance still requires ingenuity today. Here, necessary innovation meets care for resources to preserve this UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site so that it will remain for eternity for future generations. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n This is the background for us now organizing a market featuring items made by artisans in Halland, all of whom are passionate about their craft and strive for a sustainable world. It’s simply about Good Craftsmanship<\/strong>. Good Craftsmanship is a market that warms the heart, engages locally, and inspires globally. <\/p>\n Good Craftsmanship showcases ceramics, glass, wood, and metal crafts, among other things. Over 20 local and selected artisans are highlighted in collaboration with the World Heritage site. Children, both big and small, are welcome. You can look into our interactive <\/span>Exhibition<\/a><\/strong> and of course, anyone who wants to can have fun in the <\/span>Control Room<\/strong> <\/a>or take an audio-walk in <\/span>The Walk<\/a><\/strong>. Perhaps you’ll also find a radio amateur in <\/span>The Radio Galley<\/strong><\/a>?<\/span><\/p>\n This day also features the Harvest Market<\/strong> <\/a>at our good neighbors, Grimeton Lantm\u00e4n<\/strong>. Our two markets are linked this year as a joint anniversary activity<\/strong> to celebrate #100yearsofcommunication, and you can take the “World Heritage Quiz Walk<\/strong>” between Lantm\u00e4nnen and Grimeton, or ride a horse-drawn carriage if you don’t choose the tractor taxi.
