Our moderately long walking loop starts just outside the Visitor Center and takes you out to the first antenna tower. Along the way are some nice benches built by our friends at Arbetscentrum in Varberg. There you can stop and crank up some great stories to listen to. <\/p>\n

on Easter Eve at 10:00 PM<\/h2>\n

From the World Heritage site’s antenna towers, the artwork Transmission<\/strong> visualizes the radio station’s imaginary communication. Green laser in the form of varying waves and frequencies conveys messages in the intervals of the Morse alphabet. The light, visible for several miles, conveys messages based on UNESCO’s work for peace and human equality. Peace. Friendship. Freedom. Equality. Life. Love. <\/strong>The artwork is visible on a few occasions each year during the dark hours of the day. It was created by artist Aleksandra Stratimirovic<\/a> and is a permanent work owned by Varberg Municipality<\/a>. Photographer: Natalie Greppi. <\/p>\n
