Cheer on, buy an ice cream and hang out at the World Heritage Site!
The best place to cheer on the cyclists is from the radio station’s garden at Sändarsalen! Sometime between 10 and 11 am, you can cheer on your cycling friend or relative in the Ride Giro HImledalen(start list), and between 1.05 and 1.15 pm, the elite cyclists in the UCI Giro Himledalen(start list) are expected.
You can also help create a great experience for cyclists along the way. Cheer them on at a coffee table in your garden! If you’re a band, why not get together and play music for them along the road all day!
“The response has been very good and the race has 25 registered teams from seven different nations. There will be about 150 cyclists on the starting line. From Sweden we have our two conference teams Motala AIF Continental and Lucky Sport Cycling Team as well as several hard-working club teams such as Mölndals CK, CK Hymer, Södertälje CK, Jönköping CK, Ängby CC, Falu CK and CK Ringen. It is gratifying for Swedish cycling that so many take the chance when the opportunity is available at home. Denmark is, to say the least, well represented with all Danish CT and DCU elite teams! Estonia, the Netherlands and Canada come with CT teams. Norway and Finland will come with club teams”, reports Peter Larsson.
