Matsalen
In the World Heritage Visitor Center, you’ll find The Dining Hall—a place for food, meetings, and a view of the World Heritage Site.
During the summer, we serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks every day. The menu is based on our concept Poultry, fish, or somewhere in between, where flavor, variety, and seasonal ingredients take center stage. Here you can start your day with breakfast, enjoy lunch with a view of the antenna towers, or simply settle down for a relaxing coffee break.
Conferences and meetings
Feel free to contact us if you are curious about how we can help you with your meetings, conferences and gatherings.
Poultry, fish, or somewhere in between
From Midsummer’s Day until August 16, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments are served daily.
Our food concept Poultry, fish, or somewhere in between is based on the desire to prepare food that is delicious, climate-smart, and reasonably priced. The dishes on the menu range between poultry, fish, and what we call somewhere in between—this includes all ingredients that give the kitchen the freedom to prepare food that suits the season, climate, and context. For us, it’s simply about cooking food with flavor, variety, and care.
Between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, we set out a delicious breakfast featuring yogurt with homemade granola, home-baked bread, vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, and herring, along with freshly brewed coffee, tea, refreshing drinks, and other treats.
At lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, you can choose between bird, fish, or in-between; while the kitchen prepares your meal, you can help yourself to whatever you like from the buffet table.
And all day long, there are homemade pancakes and fika!
