Matsalen
In the World Heritage Visitor Center, you’ll find the newly opened “Matsalen”, which in english is Dining Room.
Enjoy a prolonged lunch with a magnificent view, a classic egg sandwich, or a hearty cake with your coffee. The highlight that attracts visitors from far and wide is our ‘landgång’ (open sandwich platter) – which you enjoy from land over sea, just like a Grimeton long wave. But we recommend booking this in advance – Secure your landgång!
In Matsalen, we care deeply about choosing good, preferably local ingredients. Feel free to ask us about our choices.

that the antenna workers in Grimeton also called the 46-meter-long platform up in the towers a ‘landgång’? Matsalens version is thankfully at a scale of 1:200.
