Matsalen
In the World Heritage Visitor Center, you’ll find The Dining Hall—a place for food, meetings, and a view of the World Heritage Site.
Here you can sit down for lunch or some refreshments every Wednesday to Saturday throughout the autumn. The menu is based on our concept “Bird, Fish, or In-between”, where taste, sustainability, and seasonal ingredients are central. For pre-booked groups, conferences, and events, we offer refreshments and meals by arrangement.
Conferences and meetings
Feel free to contact us if you are curious about how we can help you with your meetings, conferences and gatherings.
Poultry, fish, or somewhere in between
Our food concept Bird, Fish, or In-between is based on the desire to cook food that is delicious, climate-smart, and reasonably priced. The menu moves between bird, fish, and what we call ‘In-between’ – ingredients and flavors that give the kitchen the freedom to cook according to season, climate, and context. For us, it’s simply about food with taste, variety, and care.
During the autumn, we offer food and refreshments during the Visitor Centre’s opening hours. The weekly lunch is served 12:00–14:00.
For pre-booked groups, conferences, and events, we can offer coffee and refreshments and meals as part of the visit.
Are you a group that would like to use our premises for a corporate event, wedding, party, or something else? Get in touch and we’ll be happy to help you tailor a menu that suits you.
