We are Conducting a Climate Account for an Even Smaller Climate Footprint

We work daily with sustainability through our mission to use this place without consuming it. A new step in our sustainability work is to exchange knowledge and experiences with other companies and organizations together with the Halland energy and environmental network EMC. We have just summarized our very first Climate Account to gain access to a concrete calculation tool and, through data collection, make sustainability work traceable and monitorable over time. With concrete results, it helps us know what we can do even better.

Here you can find EMC’s compilation of Climate Accounts 2023 for 31 Halland companies and organizations working to become more aware and thereby reduce their climate impact.

Sustainable place development
By working collectively on sustainable place development through tourism in and around the World Heritage site, the place becomes an obvious and living asset for those who visit, live and work in Halland

– Sweden’s vision is that “World Heritage sites show the way to a sustainable and peaceful world”. At the Grimeton Radio Station World Heritage Site, we work to preserve, use and develop the site without negative impact on our world, which we believe is absolutely necessary for it to remain. The Climate Account is an opportunity to better document, establish indicators and formulate specific and measurable goals for the work. This also becomes valuable input for the reports made to UNESCO about the World Heritage site’s status, which include social, economic and environmental sustainability.
