Conference in Varberg – meetings at the Grimeton World Heritage Site
Our meeting venues
Our flexible meeting rooms can be adapted for both smaller groups and larger gatherings. The rooms can be booked individually or together, accommodating up to 75 people depending on the setup. Meet in bright spaces overlooking the World Heritage Site and the distinctive antenna towers—an inspiring environment for everything from board meetings and workshops to larger conferences.
Easy to get here
Grimeton is set in a calm rural area just outside Varberg, yet still close to major transport links. There is free parking and the visitor centre is fully accessible. The location makes it easy to bring together participants travelling from different directions.
Meals as part of the experience
When you book a conference or meeting at the Grimeton Radiostation World Heritage Site, food is a natural part of the whole experience. In the Dining Hall, meals are served that give you energy for the day and space for conversation between sessions.
All food is prepared on site and tailored to the day’s schedule. For full-day conferences, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon coffee are included, and for shorter meetings, meals can easily be added. The Dining Hall is directly connected to the meeting rooms, so the day runs smoothly without moving between buildings.
Our food philosophy
Poultry, fish, or somewhere in between
The Dining Hall kitchen works by the principle “poultry, fish, or somewhere in between”—an approach where flavour, quality and sustainability go hand in hand. The focus is on ingredients with a lower climate impact, such as fish, poultry and plant-based options, often seasonal and made from scratch.
It’s not a rulebook, but a direction. Every ingredient is chosen with care—for the taste, for the guests and for the future.
Combine your meeting with an experience
Holding a conference at Grimeton means more than just booking a meeting room. Here you can add experiences at the World Heritage Site—for example, a guided tour of the facility or an activity that brings energy and new perspectives. Many groups choose to combine the meeting with a shared experience to create a more inspiring and memorable conference day
Here you can add activities that strengthen both the content and the sense of togetherness
• Guided tours of the World Heritage Site
• Transmitter start-up of the Alexanderson alternator
• The Sabotage – an interactive team exercise
• The Workshop – hands-on workshops
• CPR courses
• Creative movement and dance sessions
The setting makes it easy to combine work, reflection and experience.
“We and our customers were truly impressed by both the place and your commitment. The venues were perfect for our customer event and the tour was incredibly appreciated. The passion for the site’s history really shone through.”
