High above the Sea! Switchboard Hello! With the Radio Choir
“The Radio Choir” takes us on a journey through time in the spirit of communication from the 1920s to today! Come to the Grimeton World Heritage Site and experience how the entire radio station vibrates. Himlendalen parish’s own fantastic Radio Choir, consisting of 70 singers from the Himledal Choir and the TON-teenagers, fills the now hundred-year-old, beautiful transmitter hall.
The Radio Choir offers a song medley spanning ten decades from 1920 to today, carrying us on sound waves into the future. We are incredibly happy for this initiative to contribute to the celebration of “100 years of communication”. Led by Marina Bengtsson and Eva Johbarn with musicians.
