Opening day for Martina Sjögren’s Grimeton mug – a tribute to the mast workers
Artist and interior designer Martina Sjögren, who works under her name M Art in her studio in Bua, just north of Varberg, paints fantastic motifs in watercolor. Several motifs have also become enamel mugs. Durable, long-lasting – just as enamel cups have been ever since the mast workers sat up on the cross arm for a coffee break from work. As a tribute to those who have kept the radio waves unbroken, Martina is painting a beautiful motif for the Grimeton Radio Station World Heritage Site ahead of the anniversary. A great way to contribute to the celebration of “100 years of communication”! Want to buy a mug for yourself or maybe as a gift for a dear friend? Go to Martina Sjögren’s website webshop. We will also have a number of mugs at the Christmas race at Barnens Badstrand in Varberg on December 1, 2024, when we are there with Matbyssjan.
