The Technical Shift is an approximately 60-minute in-depth guided tour. Here, you will gain a deeper understanding of the technology behind a truly unique radio transmitter from the early 20th century. For those who want to experience something truly special, we recommend staying for a Transmitter Start – a powerful demonstration where the Alexanderson Association’s operators set the historical machinery in motion. When the transmitter comes to life, you won’t just hear history – you’ll feel it vibrate through the room.
