Fine Craftsmanship – Market at the World Heritage Site
Grimeton Radio Station has a tradition of self-sufficiency and creating with one’s own hands. Creativity and problem-solving have always been valued here, ever since the towers began to be built. The staff made their own tools, and maintenance still requires ingenuity today. Here, necessary innovation meets care for resources to preserve this UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site so that it will remain for eternity for future generations.
That is why we are now hosting a market featuring items made by artisans in Halland, all of whom are passionate about their craft and share an ambition for a sustainable world. It is about Good Craftsmanship, quite simply. Gott Hantverk is a market that warms the heart, engages locally, and inspires globally.
Gott Hantverk showcases ceramics, glass, wood, and metalwork, among other things. Over 20 selected local artisans are highlighted in collaboration with the world heritage site. Take the opportunity to visit our interactive Exhibition, and of course, anyone is welcome to have some fun in The Control Room or take an audio walk along The Promenade. You might even find a radio amateur in The Radio Shack?
